The HL Oboe has been crafted for the advanced musician, offering the tonal richness and responsive feel of a professional instrument at a highly competitive price. The bore of the HL has been inspired by the successful XL series, delivering excellent sound, control and consistency.
The HL produces a focused and resonant tone with strong projection, making it suited to both solo and ensemble performance. Precision undercutting and expert voicing of the tone holes enhance tonal depth and clarity across all registers. The new HL Oboe comes with an adjustable thumb rest with a ring.
Built with durability in mind, the HL includes metal socket liners and metal-sleeved tenons, helping to protect against moisture build-up, whilst maintaining accurate key work alignment across the joints.
Despite its professional capabilities, the HL remains lightweight, offering comfort without compromise.
