Verified capture packs featuring the highly acclaimed St. James 100, Series One 100 MK II, Artisan and more are now available free to players worldwide, with direct Beam app integration for Beam Mini owners.
Blackstar Amplification has partnered with TONE3000 to release an official collection of Neural Amp Modeler (NAM) capture packs, giving guitarists free access to the tones of some of the rarest and most celebrated valve amplifiers ever to come out of the British based innovator.
Working alongside TONE3000 and Blackstar’s own in-house engineers, the collaboration has produced a comprehensive library of NAM captures spanning complete rigs, isolated amp heads, and pedals. Among the amplifiers featured are the St. James 100, the Series One 100 MK II, and the Artisan range, with many
more included in the collection. These are amplifiers that have been played on stages and in studios worldwide, from headline festival slots to landmark recordings. All captures are available now via Blackstar’s verified profile on TONE3000, completely free of charge.
For owners of the Beam Mini, the captures are accessible directly inside the Beam app, bringing these tones seamlessly into Blackstar’s smart amp ecosystem with no additional steps required. For every other player in the world, the packs can be loaded into any NAM-compatible hardware device or software plugin.
These neural captures are created with the open-source Neural Amp Modeler (NAM). NAM is widely considered the most accurate amp modelling technology available with incredible feel and dynamic response. NAM is open source, meaning these Blackstar NAM captures work anywhere NAM is supported, including a rapidly growing ecosystem of plugins, multi-fx pedals, and amps.
Alex Gee, Head of Products | Blackstar Amplification: “These are some of the most prestigious valve amplifiers we’ve ever made and many players may never have the opportunity to plug into them. Working with TONE3000, we’ve captured each one faithfully and put them in the hands of anyone who wants to try them.”
Stanley Vergilis, CEO | TONE3000: “Our mission is to make music creation universally accessible, and that starts with tone. Because these Blackstar captures were made with the open-source Neural Amp Modeler, you can play iconic Blackstar tones anywhere NAM is supported.”
