Orange Amplification has unveiled the Baby Terror, a new 20-watt analogue amplifier head that distils the company’s renowned Terror Series into its most compact format yet. Powered by analogue JFET circuitry rather than valves, the Baby Terror has been designed to deliver the familiar Orange character while offering the portability and reliability that today’s players increasingly expect.

Despite its diminutive footprint, the Baby Terror is equipped with a host of professional features. Alongside a traditional three-band EQ and Presence control, it includes an effects loop, balanced XLR line output with cabinet simulation, a footswitchable second volume and Orange’s new ‘Tubby’ switch, which adds extra warmth and low-end response for cleaner tones. The result is a versatile amplifier aimed at home recording, rehearsal and live performance alike.

The launch reflects a growing trend towards compact, gig-ready equipment that doesn’t compromise on tone or functionality. By combining classic Orange voicing with modern connectivity and a highly portable design, the Baby Terror is set to appeal to a broad cross-section of guitarists, from home enthusiasts through to working musicians looking for a lightweight, dependable solution.
