As Music for All celebrates its 30th birthday, we are entering an exciting and pivotal new chapter. Five years ago, we became an independent charity and, since then, have grown our impact fourfold. Now, with an ambitious 2030 Vision, we are determined to accelerate our impact in response to growing need and ensure that everyone has the opportunity to experience the life-changing benefits of music making.
Music for All is looking to co-opt a new Fundraising Trustee who is passionate about our mission and can help us build the partnerships and income we need to reach even more people across the UK.
Last year alone, we supported nearly 21,000 people across the UK, an increase of almost 75% on the previous year. We awarded nearly £225,000 in grants, distributed almost £15,000 worth of donated instruments, and partnered on initiatives that helped nearly 7,000 people living with dementia experience the life-changing benefits of making music.
As our impact continues to grow, we are looking for someone with strong experience in fundraising, sponsorship and development who can help us identify new opportunities, build strategic relationships and strengthen our income generation.
This is an exciting opportunity to help guide a charity that is expanding its reach, influencing change across the music, education and health sectors, and working to ensure everyone has the opportunity to experience the proven benefits of making music.
