Ballistica introduces Novox audio products to UK dealers
Three-product launch gives music retailers a simple route into recording, podcasting and content creation.
Ballistica Ltd, the company working to deliver Arrow Guitars to the UK market, is proud to announce that it can now offer Novox audio products to UK dealers.
Novox develops microphones, wireless systems and audio equipment for musicians, content creators, gamers and everyday users. Its approach combines accessible sound quality with straightforward operation, helping customers get started without a complicated studio setup.
Ballistica’s initial UK offering focuses on three products:
Novox NCX: A versatile USB condenser microphone for podcasting, streaming, gaming, voice and instrument recording. Four selectable pickup patterns accommodate different recording situations, while an integrated desk stand, headphone monitoring, gain control and tap-to-mute function put essential controls within easy reach.
Novox NC1: A straightforward USB condenser microphone for customers taking their first steps into recording, streaming or podcasting. Its directional pickup pattern focuses on sound in front of the microphone, and plug-and-play operation removes the need for a separate audio interface.
Novox One Air: A compact wireless microphone system for video creators, presenters and interviewers. A lightweight clip-on transmitter and receiver offer freedom of movement, with automatic pairing and simple operation helping users concentrate on their content.
The decision to introduce Novox followed conversations with retailers during store visits. Dealers reported enquiries from customers who wanted to record audio but had little interest in learning a digital audio workstation or investing in a traditional recording setup. Many were also coming from outside the usual musician customer base.
“People are walking into music shops because they want to record a podcast, improve their gaming audio or make videos,” says Luke. “They know a music shop is somewhere they can ask about microphones, but they don’t necessarily want an interface, a DAW and a lesson in recording engineering. They want something they can connect and start using.”
With few dedicated physical retailers serving podcasting and gaming audio customers, we see an opportunity for independent music shops to become a local source of both products and advice.
“These enquiries suggest there is business that some stores may be missing,” Green continues. “Novox gives dealers a practical way to respond, with plug-and-play USB microphones for desktop use and a simple wireless option for customers creating content on the move. It also creates another reason for people to visit their local music shop, including those who might never have considered buying an instrument.”
Ballistica will review opportunities to expand its Novox offering in 2027. For now, the company believes these three products address clear use cases and a level of demand already being reflected in dealer conversations.
MIA members and other UK music retailers interested in stocking Novox are invited to contact Luke Green at Ballistica for product information, dealer pricing and availability.
