PRS Guitars today announced the Class of ‘27 for the PRS Pulse Artist program. From a record high 450+ applications, the class of 2027 comprises 135 artists from 30 countries, reflecting the program’s global scope and range of playing styles. Final selections were based on a variety of factors, including guitar skills, online presence and engagement, touring activity, and regional influence. Additionally, one artist from the class of 2026, Tanapol “Not” Srikanjana of Thailand, will be graduating to PRS Official Artist status, an increased level of endorsement, effective this month.

“We’re excited to welcome the PRS Pulse Artist Class of 2027 to the PRS Guitars family! The Pulse Artist Program is about celebrating emerging talent, supporting artistic growth, and building meaningful relationships between our authorized dealer network, artists, and PRS Guitars. It’s incredibly rewarding to see these talented guitarists grow in their musical journeys, inspire others, and strengthen the connections that make the PRS community so special,” said Bev Fowler, PRS Guitars Director of Artist & Community Relations.

The 2027 PRS Pulse Artists, like their predecessors, are making waves in local music scenes throughout the world and in the online guitar community. PRS Guitars launched the PRS Pulse Artist program seven years ago to help influential guitar players form stronger relationships with their go-to retail store and each other. The goal is to amplify these musicians and their art and help to connect more people through music. Through the program, artists are granted exclusive discounts on guitars, amps, and accessories through their local Authorized PRS Dealer. They also receive exposure through editorial content on the PRS Guitars website and posts on its social platforms. Adding “PRS Pulse Artist” to their resume has also helped these players connect with venues and potential sponsors.

Now graduated from Pulse Artist to Official Artist with PRS Guitars, Tanapol “Not” Srikanjana is one of Thailand’s standout rock guitarists, best known for his work in the band Retrospect. As a key member of the group, Not has helped shape Retrospect’s signature sound, blending heavy, driving riffs with expressive melodies and technical precision. Since the band emerged in the early 2000s, Retrospect has built a strong following in Thailand and earned recognition for its contributions to the Thai rock and metal scene, including an appearance at Germany’s renowned Wacken Open Air festival in 2009.

“Many years ago, my grandmother wanted to get me something special as a gift. She gave me two choices: a car or a PRS guitar. Without a second of hesitation, I chose the PRS. Looking back, I don’t think I could have imagined where that decision would eventually take me. All I knew back then was how much I loved playing guitar and how much I wanted that instrument. I never thought that one day I’d be standing on stage with a PRS in my hands night after night, making music, living my passion, and eventually receiving an email telling me that I’m officially part of the PRS Official Artist family,” said Tanapol “Not” Srikanjana.
