PRS Guitars today announced new items available now through Authorized PRS Dealers, and both the Maryland factory-housed and online West Street East Stores. This season’s release includes several new shirt designs, a shop-style work jacket, cases, 30th-anniversary Private Stock guitar straps and luggage tag, a musician’s notebook, the 30th-anniversary Private Stock calendar, and, for the first time, a 7-string set of PRS Signature Strings. Here are some of the highlights:
Musician’s Notebook
This bound journal features two types of pages opposite each other throughout. On one side, there are blank sheet music pages for documenting ideas when creativity strikes. The opposite pages are blank, lined pages for jotting down lyrics, notes and more. This notebook is available exclusively through the online West Street East Store.
Vintage Paul Reed Smith Fine Handcrafted Guitars Raglan Shirt
This raglan throwback shirt is inspired by the cover design of Paul Reed Smith’s first illustrated catalog from the late 1970s. Heathered for a vintage look and feel, this shirt is for fans of PRS Guitars craftsmanship and history.
Worker’s Jacket
Inspired by classic mechanic/technician apparel, the PRS Worker’s Jacket combines timeless shop style with modern comfort and everyday durability. Built from a wrinkle-resistant, water-resistant poly/cotton shell, it’s equally at home in the workshop, at a venue, or on the road. Functional details include a copper front zipper, adjustable cuffs and waist, dual snap hand pockets, a sleeve utility pocket with pen pouch, and an interior wallet pocket for secure storage. Finished with two embroidered patches on the front and a lightweight nylon/poly lining, this jacket is made to be worn in any season.
Guitar String Sets, (10 Pack); PRS Guitars Signature Strings 10-59, 7-String Set
PRS Signature Series Strings feature a proprietary alloy, designed to give greater magnetic properties for louder and brighter tone. The nickel-plated steel strings with hex-shaped, high-carbon steel core and soldered ends are made to extend string life and help the guitar stay in tune. All PRS Signature Series Strings come in corrosion-free packaging to keep strings fresh. For this seven string set, the individual string gauges are .010, .013, .017, .026, .036, .046, .059. These string sets will start shipping in December.
Additional PRS ATA Multi-fit Molded Guitar Cases: Hollowbody D3, and Long-Scale D4
New additions to PRS’s ATA Molded Case lineup, the D3 is designed to fit hollowbody and singlecut hollowbody guitar shapes, while the D4 is designed to fit solidbody extended-range guitar shapes (i.e., SE Mark Holcomb SVN, SE 277, etc.). Just like the existing D1 and D2 versions, these cases are formed from durable polyethylene and are built to military and ATA spec to give peace of mind when traveling or carting gear to gigs. Inside, PRS Molded Cases are built with shock-absorbent EPP foam, which is the same material used in F1 car seats, motorcycle helmets, and infant car seats, so players can trust it to protect their guitar. The interior also features a custom-fit nest and neck cradle, designed with PRS Guitars’ engineering team specifically to support PRS guitars. The proprietary zip-tie channel latch system provides a secure, TSA-friendly solution without the hassle of having to deal with unreliable locking systems. The D4 case will start shipping in December.
