NAMM
NAMM, the National Association of Music Merchants, is a global not-for-profit trade association dedicated to strengthening the music products, sound, and entertainment technology industry.
Established in 1901, the organization represents thousands of member companies worldwide—including instrument manufacturers, audio engineers, retailers, and distributors. NAMM is best known for hosting The NAMM Show, a massive annual trade exhibition in Anaheim, California, where the music world gathers to debut cutting-edge instruments, preview audio technology, and conduct global business.
Beyond commerce, the organization actively promotes the benefits of music-making through its NAMM Foundation, which funds music education research, supports public advocacy programs, and provides grants to ensure people of all ages have access to music education.
