ThorpyFx Ltd
ThorpyFX is a British boutique guitar-effects manufacturer based in Brackley, Northamptonshire, specialising in premium, handmade analogue pedals for discerning guitarists. Founded in 2014 by former British Army officer Adrian Thorpe, the family-run company has built a strong reputation for combining meticulous engineering, high-quality components and exceptionally robust construction with distinctive, studio-grade tones. Its range covers overdrive, distortion, fuzz, boost, compression, modulation, phasing and amp-emulation pedals, with products designed to withstand the demands of touring and professional studio use.
ThorpyFX hand-builds its pedals in the UK using through-hole components and tests every unit through a valve amplifier before it leaves the workshop. The brand has also developed a distinctive position through collaborations and signature products with respected designers and artists, including Dan Coggins and guitarist Chris Buck, while continuing to operate with the obsessive attention to detail and small-batch ethos associated with the boutique pedal market.
