Wallace Bagpipes Limited
Wallace Bagpipes is a Scottish manufacturer specialising in traditionally crafted Highland bagpipes, based in Paisley near Glasgow. The company combines traditional hand-crafting techniques with modern CNC machining, with around 95% of its production using traditional methods and 5% CNC machining to achieve consistency and precision. Its instruments are made in Scotland from carefully seasoned African Blackwood and can be supplied either as individual pipe components or fully assembled sets, with a five-year guarantee.
Wallace has developed a strong reputation among competitive and professional pipers, including through its collaboration with Scottish piping champion Chris Armstrong and its supply relationship with the Red Hot Chilli Pipers, for whom it developed a bespoke range of “Red Hot Chilli Bagpipes”. Alongside bagpipes, the company produces pipe chanters, practice chanters and accessories, sells directly through its online shop and works with specialist stockists internationally, giving it a distinctive position as a premium, specialist Scottish instrument maker.
