Yamaha Music London
Yamaha Music London is Yamaha’s European flagship retail store, located on Wardour Street in the heart of London’s Soho and serving everyone from complete beginners and hobbyists to professional musicians and music educators. The three-storey store offers an extensive selection of Yamaha instruments and related equipment, including acoustic and digital pianos, keyboards, synthesizers, guitars, basses, drums, brass, woodwind, orchestral strings, professional audio and music-production technology. Following a major renewal in 2023, the store expanded its experiential focus, including Europe’s largest selection of Yamaha digital pianos and Yamaha guitars, with around 170 guitars displayed in a dedicated guitar area and an in-house Guitar Lab providing setup and servicing.
The store also features a piano hall, event space, content-creation facilities and regular performances and demonstrations, reinforcing its role as a destination rather than simply a conventional retail outlet. In 2026, Yamaha further expanded the site with Europe’s first Yamaha Audio Solutions Centre, providing demonstrations, training and consultation for professional audio applications. As Yamaha’s only direct-to-consumer music retail operation outside Japan, Yamaha Music London occupies a particularly prominent position within the company’s global retail network.
