Yorkshire Pianos
Yorkshire Pianos is an independent piano specialist based in the Yorkshire Dales at Bolton Abbey, combining a substantial piano showroom with one of the UK’s few remaining traditional piano manufacturing operations. The business offers a wide selection of new, used and fully restored upright and grand pianos, including Steinway, Yamaha, Petrof and its own British-built Cavendish Pianos, with particular expertise in high-end and concert instruments. Cavendish is a central part of the business, with pianos built on site using traditional craftsmanship and an emphasis on reviving piano-making skills in England.
Alongside sales and manufacturing, Yorkshire Pianos provides piano restoration, tuning, valuation, removals, storage, leasing, aftercare and piano hire for concerts, weddings, television, film and other events. The company also has a strong education and professional customer base, providing tuning and servicing for schools, universities, venues and visiting artists. Its combination of specialist retail, restoration, technical expertise and genuinely British piano manufacturing gives Yorkshire Pianos a particularly distinctive position within the UK piano market.
