We have a unique opportunity for a Showroom Coordinator to join our world-class global Marketing Team in London, UK.

Artists are the foundation for everything we create, and our goal is to become a best-in-class marketing partner to new and existing artists who are driving guitar forward in music and culture. Our showroom in the heart of London’s Covent Garden is a beautiful space to present our instruments and collaborate with our artist partners. The Showroom Coordinator will be the front-of-house face of our brands, welcoming people to our space and making sure that the experience we deliver there is commensurate with the incredible power of our brands.

 About the opportunity:

  • Full management of the inventory at the London artist showroom, including the ordering of samples and movement of stock out according to lifecycle demands.
  • General administrative support to the Artist Marketing team, including all aspects of financial admin.
  • Showroom operational duties – ensuring the space is well-presented, accessories and sundries are well-stocked
  • Monitoring the Artist Marketing inbox, responding to and redirecting messages as appropriate.
  • Monitoring & tracking of FMIC-related content on artist channels. Be the point-person for artist marketing updates for reporting purposes.
  • Artist sales for all FMIC brands
  • Coordination of the instrument set-up & tech requirements for the artist marketing team.
  • On-the-ground handling of weekly/monthly/quarterly health & safety protocols at the artist showroom.
  • Escalation of any facilities-related problems to the FMIC Facilities Administrator.
  • Support at content / social shoots
  • Contribute to the global, multi-cultural expansion and authenticity of the brand.

About your talent:

Essential skills, experience and education:

  • Musical instruments background, with proficiency on guitar or bass
  • Service mindset — willing to champion & grow your evolving roster of artists internally at Fender and to support them with service (gear, repairs, exposure, networking, etc.) that goes above & beyond industry standards
  • Superb organisation skills, excellent discipline & time management skills.
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Self-starter, able to build a plan, communicate a plan, execute and evaluate/report
  • Team-player and collaborator, motivated to create wins for the artist and the team
  • Appreciation for, and working knowledge of, Fender’s unique position in music & culture
  • Experience working in multi-cultural environments and with multi-cultural brands
