Fender Opens New Artist Showroom in Shanghai, China


Fender Musical Instruments Corporation and Fender Music (Shanghai) Corporation today announce the official opening of its first China Artist Showroom, located in the bustling Xuhui District in Shanghai.

Elevated services will be provided to Fender China’s extensive roster of artists through this multifaceted space,from product support to marketing collaborations. It will also serve as an innovative and productive working space for Shanghai-based Fender artist marketing and product teams, aiming to encourage and aid the next generation of artists and empower the local music industry.

The Fender Artist Showroom Shanghai marks the 4th Artist Showroom worldwide for Fender, following locations in Tokyo, London, and Nashville. Fender’s mission today stays rooted in the vision set out by its founder, Leo Fender, who said, “Artists are angels and it’s our job to give them wings to fly.” This enduring belief continues to guide Fender’s unwavering commitment to innovation and to serving the needs of musicians around the world.

The opening ceremony featured a surprise performance by the highly acclaimed band INNOUT. Guitarist Jun Xiao and drummer An Yu, with their masterful skills and expressive music, provided a perfect finale for the event, hinting at the exciting performances and activities to come at the Fender Artist Showroom Shanghai.
