The new Xvive XP58 Wireless Digital Guitar Pedal rig, is the latest product to join the company’s popular series of wireless systems now broadcasting on the higher 5.8 GHz frequency range, these also include the popular U35 Microphone and U45 In-Ear Monitoring wireless systems offering more freedom in the frequencies and a cleaner sound transmission, whilst eradicating interferences and overlapping issues akin to the often overcrowded standard 2.4 GHz frequency.
Already proving to be a firm favourite and receiving high scores from solo artists, bands and sound engineers, for its digital clarity, signal stability and reliability, the XP58 Wireless Digital Guitar Pedal rig features the A58T six channel transmitter from the original A58 series, and is now paired with the XP58R Receiver Pedal.
With Buffered and True Bypass modes, the XP58R Receiver Pedal scans all six available wireless channels for the strongest signal, whilst doubling as a highly accurate chromatic tuner with a bright pin-sharp LED display and, to limit space and leads, there’s also a handy USBC output to charge the A58T transmitter direct from the receiver.
Both units are solidly constructed with a robust, sleek, stylish design, whilst the transmitter itself, now available in a choice of cool finishes that include, Grey, Mahogany, Rosewood and Sunburst, with very handy passive/active modes to balance guitar outputs, also features a hinged output jack to fit unobtrusively to electro-acoustic, electric and bass guitars with end, or body-mounted 1/4in instrument jack sockets.
Like all models throughout the range of Xvive wireless systems, impressive specifications for the XP58 also include 5 hours of continual performance from a single two and a half hour charge, a stable 100-foot (30.48m) line-of-sight wireless range, hi-resolution 24-bit/48kHz audio, a 110 Db signal-noise ratio, 0.1% total harmonic distortion, – 90dBm RF sensitivity and an incredible low 5ms latency (0.005 seconds) transmission speed, which mimics a traditional wired setup and is virtually instantaneous to the human ear.
