Nitrocellulose finishes and stainless steel frets are typically associated with significantly higher price brackets. Patina Guitars aims to change that, introducing premium specifications into a high-volume price category.
Launching across Europe from mid-February 2026, the new vintage-inspired electric guitar brand delivers genuine nitro finishes and premium hardware in a segment traditionally dominated by polyurethane finishes and entry-level components.
Patina Guitars is a sister brand to JET Guitars and Spira, developed by the same European team behind both lines, combining established production infrastructure with a clearly differentiated market position.
At the core of the range is genuine nitrocellulose lacquer, designed to age naturally. Specifications across the line-up include stainless steel frets, locking tuners, modern two-point tremolos, bone nuts, Alpha pots and custom-wound Alnico V pickups.
The models draw on shapes from the golden age of guitar making, offering both clean and lightly relic’d finishes to meet demand for vintage aesthetics without the Custom Shop price tag.
The UK launch will be supported by dealer-focused marketing assets, point-of-sale materials and online promotion to drive footfall and enquiries. The range has been structured to provide healthy and sustainable retail margins within a highly competitive segment.
